The lovely Miss Becky

Boudoir Photo Sessions can be very nerve racking. I know! On my very first shoot, I was sick to my stomach with nerves. I am still not 100% sure of the reasons, but here are a few tips and pointers I have learned from my experiences to hopefully help you put your mind and soul at ease.

We usually start out shooting with a little more clothing. As you become more comfortable, we can work our way through your outfit choices! Feel free to bring lots of your favorite outfits and we’ll pick out the best for your shoot!

Outfits, Nerves, Poses and YOUR LOOK BOOK will be discussed during your free consult! This is all about YOU so do not refrain from owning your experience! I am always open to all your suggestions! Afterall, I want this to be the Ultimate Boudoir Experience for you!

Fit for a Queen - Outfit Suggestions

Bra and Panties Most importantly, bring at least one bra and pantie set. Start with basic black and then add colors and patterns. EXCEPT thin/pin strip and polka dots. These do not show well on camera. Makes the viewer dizzy TBH. Bras and panties can be photographed alone or paired with any of the other clothing items or accessories you bring.  They are also helpful when setting up implied nude poses.

Lingerie A bodysuit, vintage slip, teddy and/or camisole always photographs well.  Corsets with thigh high stockings, a garter belt, and heels are super sexy too.  My studio is built to work with all colors as well as various patterns and fabrics. Start simple and grow more extreme from there. Think about what colors look good on you.

Casual Attire

Everyday clothing such as sheer tops, jeans, and sweaters can look cute and sexy if photographed properly.  A simple white tank top or cami can be super cute!  If this is a gift for your partner then bring something from his wardrobe. This can be one of his favorite ties, or a button down shirt.  Anything that makes the images more personal and sexy to him! It also adds variety to your collection of outfits and will look great in the final book.

Accessories You can easily modify the look of your outfit by changing your accessories and moving to a new background.

•Neutral and pink/blush tones work well with those who have pink undertones. Gold, cream and tan tones work well with those who have yellow undertones. Not sure what your undertones are? Send me a no makeup selfie in NATURAL LIGHT and I will help you! Stay tuned for a more indepth look at Lingerie, and how to choose the riht outfit/combo for you! I will be posting LOTS of suggestions!!
