I discovered the empowerment of Boudoir photography a few years ago when I needed it the most. I had just had a baby, (they're 7 now!) and had left a toxic relationship. I have overcome and won a lengthy history of abusive relationships and I never quite knew my own worth. Honestly, I never even realized my own inner feminine until I was in my early thirties. (What the heck right?!) I was feeling the "baby-blues" and it all revolved around how I felt about myself. My body would change, I knew that, but it was my head-space that needed the work.  I had a friend who had just done a Boudoir Photoshoot, and as a gift to me, she came and took me to have my very own, very first professional Boudoir shoot! OMG!!   I was so terrified, so when I say I completely understand the nerves that circle around your session, I mean it! I tossed my cookies on the way I was so anxious.  After the images came back from that shoot, I think I cried for days. I couldn't believe it was me?! 

All my life I was told I was ugly, I was bullied for looking "different" and it really played a huge role in my self esteem and mental health as I grew up. So seeing myself like this, was just an absolute door opener. I AM A WOMAN. I AM A SENSUAL AND CONNECTED BEING.
It became my life's duty to make sure that every woman I knew felt these exact same emotions I was experiencing. And as the years went by, amazing opportunities fell into my lap, it was divine intervention. The universe was validating my mission. I started my own business, began taking profile photos with my......wait for it.....cell phone ...(IKR?! terrible) so when an actual camera fell into my hands (forever grateful to a friend) and I took my first picture of a makeup client, in a white lace teddy and after we both cried about it for a bit, it was then I realized, I am meant for this. THIS is validation. THIS is my purpose. 4 years later and here we are. Still on this journey, still empowering and spreading LOVE and helping women realize their worth.
